Summer Fellowship Program Timeline

Aug. 1
Application opens for site cohort.

Aug. 21
Applications for site cohort.

Sept. 4 
Sites notified of acceptance to cohort.

Sept. 14
Cohort kick-off retreat, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Whitworth University.

September 2026-January 2027 
Regular cohort gatherings (one-two per month), exact dates and times will depend on the availability of cohort members.

February-May 2027
Student training begins, facilitated by Summer Fellowship Program.

This time period will include:

• Kickoff event with cohort members and fellowship students
• One pre-summer planning meeting with assigned fellow(s)
• Students will attend one worship service with assigned site

June-August 2027
Summer fellowships begin with ongoing support from summer fellowship staff.

September 2027 
Post-fellowship gathering and evaluation.
