National First-Generation Celebration Day

First-generation students are those students who are in the first in their families to attend and graduate from a four-year university. At Whitworth, we recognize them as "trailblazers" because these scholars are blazing the trail for their families and community towards higher education. We want to celebrate Whitworth first-gen students, staff  and faculty for their hard work, sacrifices, and successes to achieve a momentous achievement in their educational and professional lives. Check back here for more information about the Nov. 8 National First-Generation Celebtration Day.
