International First-Year Student Scholarship Amounts & Criteria

Listed on this page are the amounts of academic scholarship awards offered to international first-year undergraduate students based on GPA and/or test scores, depending on the individual type of test. Eligible tests include any one of the following: SAT, ACT, IB exams, GCE A-Level Exams, TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo English Test (DET). If you have taken more than one of these exams, we will base your award on the highest test result. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years of study.

SAT/ACT

• Mind & Heart Scholarship: Up to $30,000 per year
  3.75 GPA and 1420 SAT/30 ACT
• Presidential Scholarship: Up to $27,000 per year
  4.0 GPA regardless of test scores OR 3.75 GPA AND 1330 SAT/28 ACT
• Trustee Scholarship: Up to $24,000 per year
  3.5 GPA* regardless of test scores OR 1260 SAT/27 ACT
• Whitworth Scholarship: Up to $22,000 per year
  3.0 GPA* regardless of test scores OR 1200 SAT/25 ACT

Cambridge A-Level Exam

• Mind & Heart Scholarship: Up to $30,000 per year
  A,A,A or A,A,B
• Presidential Scholarship: Up to $27,000 per year
  A,B,B, A,A,C or A,B,C
• Trustee Scholarship: Up to $24,000 per year
  B,B,C, or B,C,C, or A,C,C
• Whitworth Scholarship: Up to $22,000 per year
  C,C,C 

International Baccalaureate Higher-Level Exams

• Mind & Heart Scholarship: Up to $30,000 per year
  3 higher-level exams with grades of 7,7,7 or 7,7,6
• Presidential Scholarship: Up to $27,000 per year
  3 higher-level exams with grades of 7,6,6 or 7,6,5
• Trustee Scholarship: Up to $24,000 per year
  3 higher-level exams with grades of 6,6,6 or 6,6,5
• Whitworth Scholarship: Up to $22,000 per year
  3 higher-level exams with grades of 6,5,5 or 5,5,5

TOEFL/IELTS/DET/PTE

• Mind & Heart Scholarship: Up to $30,000 per year
  GPA equivalent to 3.75/4.0 and 103+ TOEFL, 7.5 IELTS, 125+ DET or 72 PTE
• Presidential Scholarship: Up to $27,000 per year
  GPA equivalent to 4.0 and/or 96-102 TOEFL, 7.0 IELTS, 120 DET, or 68 PTE
• Trustee Scholarship: Up to $24,000 per year
  GPA equivalent to 3.5/4.0 and 88-95 TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS, 110-115 DET or 64 PTE
• Whitworth Scholarship: Up to $22,000 per year
  GPA equivalent to 3.0/4.0 and 79-87+ TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS, 110 DET or 56 PTE
