Additional Consumer Information

  • College Navigator
College Navigator is a search and comparison tool from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) that provides detailed institutional data on more than 7,000 U.S. colleges and universities. It is designed primarily to help students, parents and counselors research schools based on factors such as location, majors, tuition, admissions criteria, campus life, retention rates and accreditation. The site offers comprehensive institutional profiles and broad search functionality using standardized federal education data from IPEDS.
  • College Scorecard
College Scorecard, developed by the U.S. Department of Education, focuses on college affordability and student outcomes. In addition to basic institutional information, it highlights measures such as average annual cost, student debt, graduation rates, loan repayment, and graduates’ post-college earnings to help users assess the value and return on investment of attending a school. Compared with College Navigator’s broader institutional reference approach, College Scorecard is more outcome- and consumer-focused, emphasizing financial and career results.
  • Intercollegiate Athletic Program Participation Rates and Financial Support Data (EADA Report) – The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act is designed to make prospective students aware of a school's commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities for men and women students. Any co-educational institution of higher education that participates in a federal student aid program must prepare an EADA report. It is available from the Whitworth Athletics Department and Whitworth Admissions Office upon request. Call 509.777.3224 or write to jtoulouse-lee@whitworth.edu, or mail request to Athletics Department, Whitworth University, 300 West Hawthorne Road, Spokane, WA  99251.
